It was an eventful final day of basketball yesterday. We left the house at 9:15am and returned at 8pm. Five games, 2 locations, 1 allergic reaction, 1 sick husband, all equals 1 tired mom, 1 very grumpy 17 month old, but 1 very fun day! (minus the allergic reaction) Big B began the day with a game at 10 which they lost in overtime but still was awesome. Then we ran home to get Little B his uniform because he had spent the night at a friends house. We checked on Daddy T got his lunch, then we went back to Big B's 2nd game. Then we worked concessions for a little bit and raced to Little B's game that was about 2o miles away. He played a good game. He stole the ball once and shot a few times. During his game I noticed his face had some red blotches on it I thought he got hit or his normal reaction to the steroid he was on from his asthma. He kept playing I kept being clueless and we took pictures at the end of the game and rushed back in the car and headed back to Big B's game with a quick detour to McD's. We arrived at Big B's game and Little B said he needed some lotion for his hands I still being clueless told him it was in the diaper bag. We got in the gym and started to watch the game and all of the sudden Little B showed me his hands and I took the time to look at his face.........................his entire hands and face were blotchy and swollen he was having an allergic reaction to something. Of course this week my new (free!!) diaper bag came and I did not put the benadryl back in so we raced around town to try and find some and ended up driving home to get it. Once the benadryl was in him he felt better and back to game #3. Thanks to Jen for watching Baby B as we ran out to try and get the benadryl for Little B. We ended the day with game #4 against the other Oly team. The boys had a lot of fun playing one another. We got home all was back to normal and we ate and went to bed. Well until Baby B woke up sick. Another day another story!!! The boys really enjoyed basketball this year. They both had a great group of kids on their teams. So as Monday approaches bring on the track and baseball seasons, we are ready!
